RUNO Hotel, meaning "poem" in Finnish, was born from a dream to create a luxurious yet welcoming hotel where culture, design, and aesthetics harmonize. Set in the century-old Valtimontalo building, RUNO preserves its rich heritage—once home to Porvoo’s first inn, where Finland’s national poet J.L. Runeberg stayed. Blending art nouveau elegance with modern Nordic aesthetics, RUNO offers a unique escape, embodying timeless beauty and Finnish traditions.

Start your day with our artisan breakfast, where every baked good is freshly prepared in-house. Enjoy a personalized egg dish served to your table, tailored to your taste. We are proud to tell that our breakfast is awarded as the best hotel breakfast in Finland. Even if you're not staying at the hotel, you're welcome to join us for breakfast.
Breakfast is served during summer season from 8:00 to 11:00.

RUNO Brunch
Our Weekend Brunch is on Summer Break.
During the summer, our beloved brunch takes a little holiday.
But don’t worry: on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:30 AM to 3:00 PM, you can enjoy our delicious salmon soup and bread buffet instead: 19€ / 9,50€ (kids 4-12 years)
Brunch will be back on August 16, 2025.
