The award-winning RUNO Hotel Porvoo began with a dream to create a top-tier hotel experience that is a cut above the everyday, yet still accessible and inviting. The hotel's restaurant, RUNO Kitchen, draws from Finnish food culture and local flavors, serving high-quality breakfast, lunch, weekend brunches, private events, and room service.

We are currently looking for a waiter to join our team on a 60-hour contract, with more shifts available during peak season. The most important thing in this role is a genuine interest in customer service—you enjoy meeting people, you are truly present for the guest, and you want to use your skills to create a warm, welcoming, and high-quality RUNO experience.

The work primarily focuses on morning and day shifts, especially on weekends and holidays, but shifts are also available on weekdays and occasionally in the evenings. In this role, you will handle a variety of tasks, from hotel breakfasts and weekend brunches to lunches and various events. Your day will include welcoming and serving guests, food and beverage service, and ensuring the smooth operation of the buffet and dining room. You will also be responsible for the cash register, daily preparations, and opening and closing duties, working in close cooperation with the kitchen and the rest of the team.

We are looking for:

• at least 2 years of previous experience in the restaurant industry.
• fluency in Finnish and English; proficiency in Swedish is considered a major plus.
• a customer-oriented and positive attitude.
• the ability to work under pressure and keep everything under control even on busy days.
• proactivity and a desire to work well with the rest of the team.
• an interest in high-quality service and a desire to make a customer's day a little better.
