Attic Sauna & Spa Treatments
Above the rooftops of Porvoo, on the top floor of RUNO Hotel, awaits a soothing and serene Attic Sauna. A place where time slows down and both body and mind can rest. Handcrafted wooden panels, a spacious lounge with recliners, and a cozy fireplace create an authentic Finnish sauna atmosphere, crowned by a refreshing cold bucket shower.

Sauna use is always included in your stay. Welcome to enjoy the steam and heat. Drinks can be ordered to the sauna lounge from our RUNO Bar downstairs, or you can bring refreshments from your in-room minibar.

Our 60-minute Attic Sauna soundscape blends authentic nature sounds with music, taking you on a calming journey month by month through the year. From the crunch of snow underfoot in winter to the babbling brooks of spring, the birdsong of summer, and the gentle rains of autumn—accompanied by the crackle of firewood and the ritual of lighting the sauna. Can you recognize the different birds as they arrive with each season?
We recommend setting aside an hour just for yourself. Close your eyes. Enjoy the heat of the sauna. Relax by the fireplace and let the RUNO Spa Track carry your mind through the seasons.
The soundscape is produced by Tunement, an audio branding studio, built on the idea that no matter the season, in Finland the sauna is always warm.

The Attic Sauna can be rented for private use between 12:00–15:00 and after 21:00. Perfect for bachelorette parties, baby showers, or intimate gatherings.
